Human Resources Intern

Under general supervision, the People Operations and Human Resources Intern supports the People Care (Human Resources) segment by partnering with a variety of teams and segments across the organization. This role focuses on compliance and employee retention projects designed to enhance employee engagement, support compliance requirements, and improve overall operational efficiency, along with additional duties as assigned.
The internship concludes with a capstone presentation highlighting key deliverables, skills used and developed, and the overall impact of the projects on the business.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Retention Projects:
- Conduct research and assist in the development of employee-facing materials, presentations, and communications that support retention, engagement, and awareness initiatives and events. This may include drafting summaries, organizing content, and preparing materials to be shared across teams.
- Compliance Projects:
- Support compliance efforts by assisting with I‑9 audit and purge activities, including organizing records, reviewing data, and following established procedures to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Additional audit related duties as assigned.
- Support a legal file project, including organizing, reviewing, and transferring records.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business (Management or Human Resources focus preferred) or demonstrated interest in Human Resources, employee engagement, compliance, or organizational culture.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information into clear, engaging materials.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.
