– Medical Insurance
Medical insurance options include PPO or Health Savings Plans, through BCBS in MI and UHC in all other states. The Health Savings Plan option includes a Health Savings Account with a Company contribution.
– Dental Insurance
Dental insurance through Delta Dental of IL offers an extensive dental provider network. Preventive visits are covered at 100%, which includes x-rays and two cleanings per year. Dental insurance includes orthodontia coverage for children and adults.
– Vision Insurance
Vision insurance through Superior Vision offers a large nationwide provider network. Yearly exams are covered at 100% and a yearly allowance is offered for frames or contacts. Discounted rates are available for refractive surgery (LASIK).
– Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow you to invest tax-free contributions in health or dependent care FSAs to pay for qualified expenses incurred in the plan year.
– Short/Long Term Disability
Optional Short- and Long-Term Disability offers up to 60% of your salary in case you are unable to work due to illness or injury.
– Life and AD&D Insurance
Basic Life insurance is offered for less than $1 per week. Additional Life, Spouse Life, and Child Life options are available.
– Employee Assistance Program
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential resource for all employees and members of their household. The EAP offers 24/7 resources for personal issues affecting you or someone in your household, whenever and wherever you need it. This benefit includes six virtual or in-person sessions with a counselor, per support need.
– 401(k) Retirement Plan
401(k) is offered through Empower Retirement to employees age 21 years and older after completing 1,000 hours of service. Your contributions are matched by the Company $1 for every $1 you contribute up to 3% of your compensation. The Company will match $.50 for every $1 on the next 3% you contribute. You will be 100% vested in the Company contributions after three years of service (with a minimum of 1,000 hours per calendar year).
– Legal Insurance
Legal insurance through LegalEase can offer support and protection for legal concerns. The plan offers access to over 18,000 attorneys nationwide and help navigating common individual or family legal issues, such as: divorce, adoption, tax audits, wills, home buying and selling, traffic violations, and more. Some basic legal services may be included for no additional cost.
– Pet Insurance
Nationwide Pet insurance offers medical protection for your pets in case of accidents or illness. You can choose from basic protection or opt in to include preventive services such as wellness exams and shots. Plan details and pricing may vary by state.
– Backup care for children or adults
Care@Work offers backup, Company subsidized care for children and/or adults. This benefit includes an annual Care.com membership for 24/7 access to a network of pre-screened care providers, 10 backup care days per year (copays apply) for children or adults and discounts at nationwide childcare center.

– Bruce T. Halle Assistance Fund
The Bruce T. Halle Assistance Fund provides basic assistance to our employees who incur extraordinary expenses as a result of natural disasters, illness or other emergency hardships. Assistance may be granted for basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing; medical bills above what insurance covers; airfare related to death or serious illness of a family member; and other similar circumstances.
– Exclusive Employee Discount Program
Discounts are available to all employees immediately upon hire. Special employee pricing is available for the purchase of tires and wheels. Employees may also sign up for exclusive employee discounts through Perkspot at hundreds of national and local merchants through the Company’s free discount program.
– Employee Referral Bonus
Referral bonuses are offered to employees who refer someone for position within the Company. Referral bonuses, $750 for referring a full-time employee or $250 for referring a part-time employee, are payable after 90 days of employment.
– PTO/Vacation
Full-time employees receive annual Paid Time Off/Vacation. This time is accrued monthly, based on tenure, and is prorated the first year.

All part-time and full-time employees are eligible on their first day of employment for a 20% scholarship towards undergraduate or graduate programs through ASU ONLINE. The ASU Scholarship benefit is also extended to employee dependents (spouse and/or children under 24 years of age). The employee and one dependent may receive the scholarship at a given time. The ASU Online Scholarships may be combined with other Company Educational Assistance Programs. Program rules and eligibility requirements will apply.
Part-time(at least 12 hours per week) and full-time employees are eligible for the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) after 12 months of continuous employment with the Company. TAP encourages personal development through reimbursement of eligible education expenses, such as tuition and books, when taken at a nationally accredited college, university, or technical school. Per year, part-time employees may be eligible for reimbursement up to $1,000 and full-time employees may be eligible for reimbursement up to $5,250. Program rules and eligibility requirements will apply.
Employees may be eligible for our Graduate School Assistance Program. Eligible employees may be reimbursed up to a maximum $25,000 of eligible fees and expenses towards an approved graduate program, when taken at a nationally accredited college or university. Pre-approval is required, and program rules and eligibility requirements will apply.
Employees may be eligible for the Executive MBA Sponsorship Program. Eligible employees may be reimbursed up to 50% of eligible fees and expenses towards an approved MBA Program, when taken at a nationally accredited college or university. Pre-approval is required, and program rules and eligibility requirements will apply.
Full-time employees with three years of continuous employment with the Company are eligible to apply for the Bruce T. Halle Scholarship for their college age (17-24) dependent children. The scholarship award is valued at $5,000 per year for students attending a four-year university or $2,000 per year for students attending a two-year community college or vocational school. Students must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program and successfully complete 12 credit hours each semester. Program rules and eligibility requirements will apply.
America's Tire University (ATU) offers training for all America's Tire employees. This training includes required courses for your learning path within the Company, skills training for personal and/or professional growth, and more. Training is available in many formats, including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, self-paced, electronic books, and audio books. Many ATU courses are developed and administered by the America's Tire Learning and Development team. ATU is also supplemented with content provided by outside vendors.
